The world of healthcare has changed from doctors making house calls and pharmacists you knew by name, into large managed care corporations. After working for nearly 5 years for a drugstore chain, Dr. DeWoskin has made My HealthMart Pharmacy a place where people can know their pharmacist personally.
Our goal is to provide a full service retail pharmacy to the communities of San Diego without the headaches of corporate drugstores and big business. This family owned and operated “mom and pop” drugstore is a throw back to the days when pharmacists new their patients by name.
We are a full service pharmacy with our doors open from 9am-6pm M-F, and 9am-1pm Sat.
With a history of over 40 years of service to the communities of Pacific Beach and La Jolla, this former Med-Rx HealthMart has been revitalized by new owner and Pharmacist-In-Charge, Mark DeWoskin, Pharm.D. While owned by Med-Rx, this pharmacy previously was located in La Jolla and then on Garnet in Pacific Beach, before moving to the current location at the corner of Turquoise and Cass streets in Pacific Beach.
This store is dedicated to the local communities and strives to focus on patient care. Busy drugstore chains and centralized pharmacy distribution centers don’t have time to review patient medications and make recommendations to their nurses and physicians.
